Just a note clarifying the goatse.cx vandalism of the main page on 11/16/04. It has been confirmed via developer access to the Squid logs that this anon was indeed NOT responsible. A different IP address used a User name that was identical to this IP address. This IP address should be considered blameless. --Dante Alighieri | Talk 21:39, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)

I saw your comments on the Oak Island article and replaced them with a NPOV tag. Can you pop over to the Oak Island talk page and elaborate on what can be done to improve the article? --NormanEinstein18:12, 30 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If you have a problem with the Oak Island article please drop by the talk page and elaborate on your position so we can all work together to improve it. In your edits you've said that dissenting opinions and opposing viewpoints are delelted, but you've made no attempt (at least recently) to add anything constructive to the article. I'm not even sure if you think the article slants too much toward stating the treasure as fact or legend. We're willing to listen to your issues with the article if you'd let us. --NormanEinstein 17:39, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I concur with NormanEinstein. Please tell us on the Oak Island talk page what bothers you about the article. I would like to hear your point of view. --JonathanFreed 05:32, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Could you please stop adding your personal disclaimer that you don't agree with the Oak Island article? We've invited you to express your opinions and help to improve the article, but your repeated additions border on vandalism. If you continue this activity you might be banned. --NormanEinstein 18:13, Jun 20, 2005 (UTC)
Blocked for 24 hours for readding the non-specific note to the top of the Oak Island article, and not using the talk page to detail any problems. Thue | talk 19:06, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
If you wish to dispute the contents of an article, please tag it as NPOV using Template:TotallyDisputed and discuss it on the talk page. You complaints will not be taken seriously unless you participate in the discussion. -Loren18:56, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Keep in mind that Wikipedia operates by consensus. If you want an article to improve, you need to collaborate in consensus-building activities. You may argue that the current Oak Island article is factually wrong, or factually correct but presented in a biased way, or both. However, if you don't provide actionable information ("X is incorrect, the correct information is Y", or "I think that saying Z is biased"), it's unreasonable to expect the article to improve (or change at all). Repeatedly inserting a notice at the top of the article is inappropriate: you can insert an appropriate template message (e.g. {{NPOV}}), but then be prepared to state your objection on the article's talk page and to work with other editors on an improved version. If you don't make specific suggestions, someone will likely remove the notice and consider the matter closed. Thanks, and happy editing, --MarkSweep20:05, 18 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
You've added the same disclaimer to Oak Island article every work day for two weeks in a row. Isn't there something at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada that you could be working on instead of vandalising Wikipedia? --NormanEinstein 16:17, August 19, 2005 (UTC)
This person is not me. If you are going to try and have an article deleted for vanity, then (a) be a bit more careful about following the instructions and (b) remember the "vanity" rule applies to articles in the main WP space, not in the User: space. I have never claimed enough notability to have an article in the main article space. PaddlesTC02:11, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with links to piano-keyboard-reviews.com (*|search current). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. Since Wikipedia uses Nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the one you made in Richard Doll. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:
You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (192.197.71.189) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! 192, thanks for the cleanup work on the Martin Brodeur article. The "2007-present" section was getting a bit cumbersome, and repetitive with the records section. I planned to clean it up myself, but never got around to it. I like your approach. Thanks! (Note to other editors: There are valuable, constructive edits from this shared IP. Please be mindful of this when fighting vandalism.)Me Three (talk to me)17:52, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Chatroulette, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.
Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Hello, I'm Magioladitis. An edit that you recently made to Naya Lahore seemed to be a test and it has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Edmonton. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Terms such as “large-scale”, “high-quality”, “larger”, “scenic”, “juggernaut”, “major”, “minor”, “medium”, “jam packed” etc. are opinion-based, are not neutral and/or are subjective, some of which can be construed as being promotional in nature. Thank you. Hwy43 (talk) 22:16, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with you on some of these words. While I admit some of them could seem opinionated, others simply are descriptive. For example, it is useful for a reader to know that The Fringe Festival in Edmonton is a major festival, while the dragon boat festival is relatively less large. This is not adding opinion but rather depth.

Hello, I'm 331dot. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Rachel McAdams without explaining why.
